It's been an incredible day in the Save the Mary River campaign, one which many thought may never come, and others prayed for daily. This photo album, rushed online so you can share the joy and celebration, captures some of the personal moments at the moment that Peter Garrett announced his proposed intention to say no to damning the Mary River.

Since that announcement at 12.45pm, Anna Bligh appears to have announced her intention to concede to this and not challenge his decision.
