Early morning on the river is incredibly serene... the sound of water gushing over rocks, and the smell of campfire coffee... perfect!
One early morning, sitting on the bank with a coffee, I was lucky enough to see a platypus slowly making it's way upstream,
nosing around the riverbed looking for food. Frustratingly, I didn't have the camera at hand, so it will have to remain just one of those treasured adventure memories.
