| Treated waste water is pumped back into rivers just upstream of at least 15 town water collection points in South East Queensland. Use of this water is now referred to as 'inadvertant recycling' as the input water has not recieved as much treatment and is therefore of a lower quality than water that is deliberately recycled. |
